Ryan has been in the hairdressing industry since 1990 and is currently a Senior Director and the Head of Education at the Flagship Salon in Covent Garden. He has been with Trevor Sorbie since 2004 and is a key member of the award-winning Trevor Sorbie Artistic Team.

Ryan’s natural creativity and willingness to challenge himself has helped drive the achievements of the Art Team over the years. He has worked on team photographic collections, on stage at major hair events, in the Trevor Sorbie academy sharing his extensive knowledge and skills, at educational seminars in the UK and overseas as well as appearing on tutorials for Hairtribe TV.

Ryan’s willingness to share his experiences and give back to the salon has seen him in a mentoring role for the Art Team “Associates”, which involves guiding individuals to become full Art Team members after more experience. Alongside this, Ryan recently became the mentor for KeraStraight’s new Art Team; The Collective.

Some of his published photographic works include his men’s collection ‘Players’ (Frisor/Top Hair), the KeraStraight campaign ‘Canvas’ (HJ) and work from the Art Team collection ‘ON /OFF’ (Tribute).
