Meet the team
Anisa moved to London as an Assistant hairdresser from Greece. After one year of long hours, training and caffeine; she was qualified. Working for Trevor Sorbie was her next big goal, as it’s “the greatest place to grow and develop as a professional”. And here she is! For Anisa, the greatest thing about working in the beauty industry is “watching your client transform; their self-confidence can skyrocket.” She lives for these special moments; being a hairdresser is “so much more than just cutting or colouring hair”.
Piotr found hairdressing when “looking for something to creatively develop himself.” Inspired by Michelangelo, and being the son of a seamstress and carpenter, he grew up inspired by this creativity and learnt that with “precision, patience and determination you can create anything.” Once seeing an article of “astonishing haircuts” by the Trevor Sorbie team, Piotr also admires Trevor Sorbie’s “philosophy, accuracy, imagination and creativity”, inspiring him to develop at the highest level.
Originally from Sunderland, Ryan knew he wanted to be a hairdresser from a young age. Specialising in colour, his favourite trend is balayage because he "loves more natural-looking colour!" and his celebrity style icons and David and Victoria Beckham. He wanted to work at the Richmond salon because "you can't get any better than Trevor Sorbie' and Ryan's favourite part of his job is having the ability to make people feel great about the way they look.
After seeing Trevor Sorbie’s work all over the magazines when she was younger, Dana knew that she wanted to be a part of his team. She was always fascinated to watch how every stylist has their own technique and style, but she loves especially “the precision and detail” that is taught to every Trevor Sorbie hairdresser. Dana believes that everyone should “strive to do what they love the most and makes them happy”.
Sasho loves being creative, and thinking outside of the box. The proudest moment of his career was being told by Trevor that his final test presentation was "the best he had seen in 35 years" (since he opened his first salon). His favourite advice is to "follow your dreams", something he has done throughout his career, which began over 13 years ago, and has seen him work as a global educator and ambassador for top International hair brands. His hope for the future is to be "one of the best hairdressers'" following in the footsteps of his hairdressing idols, which of course includes Trevor and his mentor Vidal Sassoon.
Davide chose to join Trevor Sorbie to work with "one of the best and most influential hairdressers' of the past 30 years", and is proud to be a hairdresser every time his work makes a client happy. His greatest achievement has been winning a hairdressing award in Paris, and being nominated in three categories! Davide's favourite hair trend over the years is the 'pixie cut', and the iconic style he'd love to see make a comeback is the 1920s bob as it is "feminine and sexy with a strong shape".
Bella is inspired by the art and diversity in hairdressing, and the chance to get to meet many different people and help them in any way she can. Her greatest achievement is simply working for Trevor Sorbie as "it would be too hard to choose just one thing since I've joined the salon, and it's all been because of that". Grunge is her favourite trend as "it amazes me how diverse it still it", and her style icon is Zoe Kravitz as "she mixes hippy, alternative, flower child, rock and roll, grunge and pretty perfectly!".
Technical Director / Head of Technical Education
Zak chose to work at Trevor Sorbie to "become part of the best, and work with people who inspire me". His career highlight so far has been joining Trevor's Art Team, and presenting a masterclass alongside Trevor himself. His best career advice is "always prepare and know what you're doing, and then it can't go wrong!". Zak is now available for bookings in both the Covent Garden and Richmond salons.
