We asked L’Oréal Colour Trophy award-winner and Colour Technician Giuseppe Stelitano to give us his tips for the colour trends he’s predicting to see in 2020.
Natural All Over Colour
“Using natural shades with hints of warmth, this is more of an all over colour rather than using traditional balayage technique. The Celine Fall/Winter 2019 show really represented this trend where the hair is naturally long and flowing around the face, embracing the 70s look and feel.”
“This is a look that gives your hair a lot of dimension and edge and great if you’re not afraid to make a statement. Each look can be personalised to you and the two colours can be placed anywhere on the hair – it doesn’t have to be immediately obvious and could even be a hidden layer underneath!”
“Our faithful blondes, I can never see it going out of fashion, but for a 2020 twist creamy and buttery tones are the ones you should take for a more contemporary look. Embrace some Hollywood glamour, just like at the recent Louis Vuitton Fall 2019 show, where the blonde tones show a bit more of an edge.”
